  I was feeling like crap. Partially from a very difficult day at work and partially because I was starting to feel like I was getting a sore throat and a cold. It was about 12 AM and I was looking for a place to get a good bowl of soup. Most of the supermarkets have crappy soup at this time a night. My friend raved about this place. I've lived here for 12 years but kind a shied away from it partially because of the language barrier and the unconventional environment.
  
  I tried the beef soup. It had  tremendous chunks of beef potatoes and fresh vegetables.  The soup was flavorful, authentic, savory and delicious. I couldn't of made anything better myself.  It was served with hot tortillas , cilantro and onions. I immediately started to feel my strength return and my spirits rise. The waitress was pleasant  and I tipped her accordingly.  She dropped some cute little candies on my table for dessert. I  plan on returning on some cold winter days for some beef soup as well as their chicken soup.  I also plan on trying their menu of tacos, burritos, enchiladas and platters.

  Love this place. The al pastor there is perfectly cooked. The cemitas was delicious. Nice staff and atmosphere.

  The food tasted good & was cheap but I was never offered chips and salsa either when I sat down to eat (this was lunchtime so I was also the only one there). When I came in to order there was no one there besides one of the ladies cooking, so I went in to find someone to order food before I sat down. Good tacos (a little on the smaller side), just subpar service ): & there's no ac if it matters to anyone.

  Not only did they get our entire take out order wrong even thought we had it all written out for them, but when I called to tell them we were missing food and that most of the order was wrong. The person on the phone hot fed up, told me she doesnt speak english and hung up on me.

  I felt like i experience racism in this restaurant EVERYTIME i go there. They will treat you differently if you don't speak or yourself is Spanish. Every time i see white people or anyone else that isn't Hispanic eat here they have the same complaints and have the same experience of not getting  the same treatment and respect as other Hispanics customers
  
  I've been going to this restaurant for more than a 3 years and they fail to make customers happy, when I went to the restaurant with my boyfriend they did not give us appetizers yet everyone else had ( salsa and chips which are complimentary) they didn't offer water and we sat 30 minutes waiting just to get our receipt.
  
  The only reason why I kept going here is because is open late and it's cheap.
  
  The waitress is very rude after she got hired she is the reason why nobody likes this place anymore, she's rude, she EXPECTS TIP AND WILL COMPLAIN IF NOT GIVEN (she doesn't deserve)
  
  If she gets a phone call doesn't like or doesn't understand she will have your number blocked or on the DO NOT ANSWER list. The lady doesn't even speak English and when you ask someone over her or someone to speak English she refuses and hangs up.
